Each artist from the Christ Chapel congregation is invited to submit one to five pieces of their own creation for review and possible selection. Due to the large number of artists in our church family we will only be selecting the most outstanding and well-crafted artworks from the above categories. If an artist is submitting more than one piece for review, then size and scale as well as quality will also be a determination. We appreciate works that are challenging in content, but appropriateness for our church family will also be a factor in the selection process. No works showing nudity or sexually suggestive content will be accepted. We will be looking for artworks that reflect high quality craftsmanship and thoughtful content that will reflect the best examples of artistic expression from our church community.
SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES ONLINE: Online submissions will begin Friday, Jan. 26 and will close Sunday, Feb. 4. Please visit www.ccbcfamily.org/artreach for additional details. There is no cost to submit your work for Art Reach.
Unable to submit your entries online? There will be one “in-person” submission day for anyone not wanting to submit online. There will be one “in-person” submission process for anyone not wanting to submit online. For Fort Worth Campus artwork, this will be Saturday, Jan. 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Oak Room at the Fort Worth Campus. For West Campus artwork, this will be throughout the submission dates during West Campus office hours by contacting Kim Simmons at (817) 546-6171. Artists must bring the actual work they want reviewed for in-person submission along with completed Entry Forms attached to each piece. At in-person submission, photos will be taken of each submitted work. The photos will be used for judging at a later time. The Art Reach Committee will also gather any necessary information from the artists. Artists will be able to take their work with them as soon as the photos and information have been taken. Artwork does not have to be framed for the review process. However, all accepted works must follow the presentation guidelines below. Artists will be notified via email no later than Saturday, Feb. 10 if their pieces were selected.
